Gulf Photo Plus grew from the needs of amateur photographers in the region.  It began by organising small workshops and lectures and has grown to be the provider of a large annual event of workshops and talks by international photographers, year round courses and photographic events and an active website for reliable information, second hand equipment, free picture galleries and competitions    

Gulf Photo Plus Professional was launched in April 2006 to help support and promote the work of members who are starting out or well on their way to building their reputation and photography business. 

It is difficult and expensive to know where to advertise and promote yourself and potential clients have just as much difficulty knowing where to look for a photographer.  The Gulf Photo Plus Professional gallery is advertised and promoted as a directory for photographers by Gulf Photo Plus so if you are serious about wanting work Gulf Photo Plus makes you easier to find!

Photographers residing in the Arab Gulf region and Lebanon are welcome to join the Gulf Photo Plus Professional directory.  Full time or part time, experienced or not, self taught or with a professional qualification - we don't judge, we don't select, we don't discriminate.   The opinion and requirements of perspective clients is the only one that matters!
