A story that has been unfolding within the artist for some time, Fabula is the tale of a boy who wanders away from home to find a magical rose that opens up as a portal to a forest, where a blind man with a loom weaves the stories of its inhabitants. With this exhibition, Khalifa conjures up a mature fairy tale that focuses on themes of acceptance in a modern society.
