Small Strobes Big Results - The Next Step
Description
* This workshop should be limited to 12 participants.
Now that we have the basics behind us, let’s put it all together! In this workshop we’ll be exploring more complicated lighting issues on location and learn how to make the most of the location at hand.
Stop accepting reality for what it is, and start creating your own! Shooting on location can be challenging and nerve racking. By the end of this workshop, you will be looking at locations in a totally different light. Putting aside the technical aspects of flash, we’ll be concentrating on the decision making process and making the best use of our location and the lighting gear we have on hand. Face it, we can’t carry every piece of lighting equipment made on location with us, so we need to make good choices with what we do have.
Through demonstrations and some hands on shooting, you’ll feel more confident about the choices you have available to you on location. Learning how to create depth in the photograph using light, creating artificial sunlight and changing day for night.
Who Should Attend:
You are a very confident user of priority shooting modes and may even been using full manual exposure control.
You are familiar with simple lighting set ups and have had some hands on time with lighting equipment. You understand and can set up the different triggering systems.
You are aiming to consolidate your understanding and improve basic techniques as well as be introduced to some new ideas and techniques that will give you the confidence to experiment with different creative outcomes.
What to Bring:
Participants should bring their cameras, lenses and cards.
