Well, it just isn`t that simple! There is a lot to these cameras and one stroll through the menu tells you that! The options are dizzying, to say the least! There are many modes that are supposed to help you get that perfect portrait, the perfect landscape, the perfect sports shot. BUT what is really going on in these modes?
There are so many options that most people put the camera in the full auto mode and it then becomes a VERY expensive point and shoot camera. Well, relax- there is hope! There are a few of these menu functions that are absolutely critical to you getting the image you want. There are a lot of them that don`t matter at all.

Who Should Attend
No prior knowledge is assumed. You are a beginner photographer if you usually shoot in the ‘green’ or AUTOMATIC zone.
You would like to understand the basics of photography, get to know and learn how to use your essential camera features; aperture, shutter speed, ISO and others.

Insurance Waiver
The organisers of Gulf Photo Plus are diligent in their delivery of a safe workshop and event experience. Organisers, instructors and supervisors of workshop venues (private and public) take all due care in arrangements of the workshops and to ensure the safety and wellbeing of registered Gulf Photo Plus participants, models and volunteers.
Participants will be advised of any unusual health and safety requirements at the commencement of workshops and are expected to adhere to these rules.
Participation in the workshops is entirely at the participant’s own risk and any right to claim compensation for any accident, injury, loss or damage to self or equipment is waived. In particular participants accept full responsibility for their equipment against loss or theft, and acknowledge that they use the lighting equipment and travel provided by private buses to location shoots at their own risk.
Students under the age of 18 will be required to bring a letter of consent from their parent/guardian to be presented at time of registration.
