Anyone for tennis?
Photoshop tennis started in the late ‘90s as a way for graphic and web designers to show off their Photoshop skills, and was made hugely popular by art director Jim Coudal in 2001 on http://coudal.com.
The game involves an original image distributed to a few people, who process the image in their own style and then compare the results.
GPP veteran David Nightingale and former GPP students Catalin Marin and Jason Kotecha, among others, have brought their love of post-processing to Facebook by initiating their own game of Photoshop tennis.
Each player takes a shot and sends the RAW file to the other participants. The processed images are then posted anonymously alongside the original every Friday at around 8pm. You then guess who processed each image and pick your favorites. Finally, every Tuesday at around 8pm the creator of each version is revealed. Game, set and match. Check it out!
