This 3 hour seminar is an introduction to multimedia storytelling. We assume little or no prior knowledge of the process and the softwares used. The aim of the session is to present you with the various software options through a top- line comparison between them (iMovie, Aperture and Final Cut Pro Studio).
The session will also introduce you to the tools needed and the most useful functions, arm you with essential terminology and give you basic tips and “rules” for creating more compelling stories in a multimedia format.

What Is Covered:
After defining multimedia, Robin will introduce you to the terms used in multimedia storytelling, to the importance of storyboarding and organizing your files, and to how editing is carried out in Final Cut Pro and various other softwares. A significant amount of time will be spent showing you how to prepare and gather the content to do video editing and introducing you to editing with a defined message in Final Cut Pro Studio.
