Robin Nichols has been shooting pictures for more time than he cares to remember, starting a career in the UK before moving to Australia 25 years ago. Since settling in Sydney Robin has worked in the photo processing and post-production industries, as well as shooting weddings for nearly ten years.
In more recent times he’s worked as a magazine editor for Commercial Photography magazine and, latterly, Australian Photography magazine, before founding and editing Digital Photography and Design magazine, the first all-digital magazine in the Southern hemisphere.
He also been running the Better Digital magazine for more than eight years and is the founder and co-editor of Better Photoshop Techniques magazine with Peter Eastway and Philip Andrews.
Robin has also been teaching digital photography for more than eight years at a number of locations in Sydney including the Australian Centre for Photography (ACP) and Sydney University (CCE).
Robin will be teaching several beginner and intermediate photography and Photoshop workshops at GPP 2009.
